Pet Motion Sickness

Pet motion sickness is a common issue during travel and can make the journey uncomfortable for both you and your pet. Symptoms include drooling, vomiting, and lethargy. To prevent motion sickness, avoid feeding your pet right before the trip and take them for a short walk to relieve themselves. Gradually acclimate your pet to travel with short, positive experiences in the car. Use a well-ventilated carrier or seatbelt harness to keep them safe and reduce anxiety. Some pets benefit from ginger treats or anti-nausea medications; consult your veterinarian for advice. During the trip, keep the car cool and well-ventilated, and try to minimize sudden stops and sharp turns. Regular breaks for fresh air can also help alleviate symptoms, making the journey more pleasant.
